The location of the house is beautiful with spectacular views of the North Kerry and Clare coastlines. The house is also within a 5 minute drive of two quiet, unspoilt beaches in one direction and in the opposite direction, a 10 minute drive to Ballybunion town, with its beaches, cliff walks, golf courses, public leisure centre and a number of good restaurants and a supermarket.
Other amenities in the local area include horse riding and a cliff walk.
Ballybunion’s two golf courses are recognised as being among the best in the country. The Old Course has been on the list of the top 10 links courses in the world and is a hugely popular golfing destination. Other popular courses in the county are  Tralee, Killarney and Waterville, alll of which are easily reachable from Liosdoire Holiday home.

The Ballybunion Leisure Centre is an excellent facility for adults and children and is designed for special needs. Facilities include an Adult Pool 20m x 10m, Children’s Pool, Toddlers Pool, Jacuzzi Sauna/Steam Room, Treatment Rooms, Gymnasium (Air Conditioned), Aerobics Room, Coffee/Juice Bar and Jogging Track.
Surfing in Ballybunion: Ballybunion’s South beach (Men’s beach) has been recognised as one of Kerry’s best surfing locations  for the past 20years. Ballybunion Surf School runs lessons from the beach café where there are changing facilities.
Listowel Races is a huge week-long event held each September which attracts huge crowds of racegoers and revellers for what is the last great festival of the year. Listowel and Ballybunion burst into life for the week as the crowds enjoy the racing, music and fund day and night.
Tarbert Car Ferry is just 15 minutes drive away, giving quick access to County Clare with its famous Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and great golf courses at Lahinch and Doonbeg.
